I'll admire your expensive taste

Women are like pitbulls, they're beautiful, but once they tap into their nature, they are just a pitbull and you realize you never should have trusted one. This is a quote from a dude's facebook page that I don't actually know but am "friends" with. Wise words right there.

Maths test coulda gone better I guess lol. Didn't touch trig or calc. Gave the rest my best shot. Nothing I can do about it now. Biology tomorrow! Definitely gonna fail. Probably pass ecology though because I did in the midterms. Still pissed that my last exam is in like 11 days. But that should be the easiest one. I am going to miss people from school these holidays like I always do. At least facebook allows me to secretly stalk them :)

Oh, just fuck it all ...

Sat down in the physics exam. Feeling slightly confident as I have been to tutoring and passed a recent internal. Opened the booklets. Stomach dropped. Was distracted by a certain someone who was sitting rather close to me. Left after an hour and 15 minutes. I was like the 4th person to leave. Possibly, maybe passed the waves paper if the marker is compassionate. Now facing the daunting prospect of maths and biology exams. Can't wait for this week to be over.

On some questions I was telling myself "I know this one, I can do it" but then after a minute or so of inner debating, I concluded that no, I could not do it.

Napoleon like sodium mixed with petroleum

Two topics today: earphones and bus-walking.

If I have my earphones in my ears it could mean:
a) I am pissed off.
b) I don't want to talk to anyone.
c) I am going through a phase of being obsessed with a song.
d) I just want to listen to music.
e) I want to listen to music but also converse with people.
f) I am in a good mood because I'm listening to a happy song.
g) I am sad and listening to a depressing song.
h) I am listenig to a song that reminds me of someone.
i) I don't like the song someone is playing on their phone.
j) I like the song someone is playing on their phone but don't feel like listening to it.
k) I want to drown out the sounds of people talking.
l) I want you to shut up.
m) I am bored.
n) I have a song stuck in my head that I want to get rid of.
o) I am trying to learn a new song by repeating it.
p) I am trying to change my mood by listening to particular songs.
q) Everyone else is listening to music.
r) Nobody wants to talk to me.
s) I want to be straight-up left alone.
The moral of the story is that if I'm listening to my ipod, don't assume anything or read too much into it :)

Bus walking. Lol. Today when the bus was slowing down for my stop I was walking to the front and thought to myself "uh oh, I'm walking too fast! I can't stop!" but I managed to come right. It's funny to see people stumbling down the aisle or gripping the seats like their life depends on it, slowly edging their way to the door. I also hate having to ask "can I please sit by you?" and I hate being asked "can i sit here?". I want to say "no, fuck off" but I just move my bag out of the way without saying a word. I don't mind bus rides but only when the bus is fairly empty. Having someone cool to talk to is good though.

They tried to make me go to rehab, but I said no no no

I enjoy Saehee's humour. And a lot of other people's (Hayley and Te Aniwa for example. There are many more) but I decided to mention Saehee because of maths tutorials and our random-kamo-walkabout this afternoon.

LOL I emptied the computer recyle bin/trash can and there were all these pictures of half naked women that my brother had previously saved. They weren't showing anything R18 though. Just wearing skimpy lingere. Shot John :P That reminds me of the show The Big C where the mum walks in on her son watching porn.

I love Mumford & Sons. I go through phases of really loving a certain band or singer, and right now it's these blokes. Not usually my style but there are great. I'm also liking Amy Winehouse at the moment.

My "term 4" photo album that is not yet on facebook is going rather well. If you can see past the minor issue that my group don't want their pictures taken. I'm sure they will find a few photos they like once all the pictures are uploaded. But I will also inevitably get "lol please delete this" comments. And I do delete the ones that I am asked to. I need to get another photo with Amanda because the one we have is shocking lol.

I like putting random lyrics as my subject line ...

Oh I wish I was a punkrocker with flowers in my hair

I like finding old songs that I haven't heard in years. Like the one I titled this entry with. I hated it when it came out but now I love it. Others I recently downloaded are:
There's gotta be more to life - Stacie Orrico
Big city life - Mattafix
Rehab - Amy Winehouse
Why can't I - Liz Phair

Today was average. Maths and physics were ok though. Usually loathe those subjects but they have their shining moments. I have to get off the computer in like 2 minutes. Great work Kate, start a blog with no time to do it. Genius.

I am going to regularly bring my camera to school until the end of term so I can make a term 4 photo album. Everyone hates having their photo taken but loves looking back at the photos. So I seem like the bad person shoving my camera in their faces but they appreciate it later.

G2g.

Boatie McBoat

Prepare yourself, get comfortable, maybe grab a few refreshments ... because judging by my current brain activity, this is going to be a long one.

I was having a shit weekend until sunday evening at 1800 hours, when I joined my friends Whitney, Te Aniwa and Louise for a sleepover on Jason's boat. Jason is Louise's dad, and us girls called him dad for the trip. It was seriously the best weekend ever, I love staying on boats. I will try and explain the different shennanigans we got up to in different paragraphs because so much cool things happened.

On the ride out there to where we anchored for the night, we were taking photos of ourselves with the sunset behind us and the wind in our hair. All of us brought our cameras along but I left mine in my bag because using 4 would have been excessive. Having four people - plus Jason - was the perfect number. At first I was disappointed that so many people couldn't make it but it turned out great. Four is seriously the perfect number, but it kinda sucks, because which four people? We had an amazing time though. We told Jason that we are going to kidnap him and he will take us to Fiji. We really wanted to stay another night. I didn't want monday to end. Don't know how many times I've ever said that about a monday lol.

Whitney, Louise and I went for a swim on sunday evening sometime after eight. The water was surprisingly nice. Te didn't get in because it was "too cold" :P We jumped off the sides and Te took photos as she was the only dry one. Swimming at night is so cool. After that when we were dry and dressed we took more photos with glowsticks. Got some really good shots.

In the front of the boat is the bedroom with four single beds that are quite compact. They are in the format of two bunkbeds. The lower beds were slightly smaller than the top ones, so for a while Whitney and I shared one of the top ones and Te and Louise shared the other. At one point we were all basically on one bed squished up taking pictures. Some look very lesbian lol. Can't wait to see them all on facebook .. hint hint .. hurry up and upload the photos, ladies! Speaking of dirty pictures, I think it was Whitney and I who have photos with us wearing only a towel and our whole backs are exposed :0

On Sunday night we had pizza for dinner, and - big surprise - had pizza for breakfast on monday morning. Whitney made an amazing rainbow birthday cake for Louise, it had multicoloured swirls through it. She's an excellent cook. We didn't eat very nutritious food. We had pizza, chips, lollies, cake, chocolate, shapes, and drank coke, just juice bubbles and gingerbeer. That's what you're meant to have at birthday parties anyway lol. We managed to burn energy by swimming and rowing though. Onto that part ...

We travelled for a bit on monday morning and anchored in a bay. There was a group of about 8 drunk teenage guys on the beach who were behaving immaturely. We rowed to the shore and sunbathed for a while - none of us getting sunburt at the time, that happened later lol - and took photos. We swam for a bit and kept trying to convince each other to go over and talk to the guys. That didn't happen lol. Whitney said we should borrow their kayaks when they went for a walk so we could go and see a cave. The rest of us voted against that idea because it would basically be stealing. Whitney can have points for trying though. I would have gone if the kayaks belonged to Jason.

Something a little personal that I want to share is when I was sunbathing on the beach with my friends, I felt comfortable in a bikini top and small swimming shorts, flaws and all, because I know they won't judge me. Before today - this year - I doubt I would have worn that in front of anyone. I do feel more comfortable with myself now.

Overall I had a wonderful time and I'm sure Te, Louise and Whitney did too. So many great memories, like being rocked to sleep on the boat, rowing about in the little dingy, just being at sea and watching the sunset with my friends, doing stupid stuff together, enjoying each other's company. I hope we get another opportunity to do it again because it's probably the best sleepover I've ever been to.

I stil feel like I'm on a boat now. We all seriously didn't want the day to end. Thanks guys :)

Ba da ba

I hate subject lines, like in facebook messages, emails and blogs. I usually don't put anything or just write something like "I hate subject lines" or "pointless subject line". Real mature lol.

I have read every single page of sixbillionsecrets.com and was sad to get to the end. I am basically obsessed with it now. Some people find it depressing to read and just give up, but if you can get over it and appreciate what people are saying, it's well worth it. Givesmehope.com is another one I love but I haven't visited that one in a while. I still guiltily read fmylife.com sometimes. Mylifesaverage.com doesn't do anything for me anymore. I know this sounds so cheesy and like an American movie, but sixbillionsecrets really does make you appreciate your friends and family and teaches you not to judge people. It makes you aware how easy it is to recognise when people are depressed or hiding something, and opens your eyes to how many people hide behind their smile but are so depressed inside. Don't just ignore someone and think "they have their own friends" or "they will be fine".

On another note, I am listening to "money for nothing" by Dire Straits.

Only two days - including today - of holidays left. Fock. I still need to finish homework that I have kept putting off. I am compiling my christmas wishlist and it's going well. I started making a photo wall in my room of friends and family. I need to get the photos that are in my room at my dad's place so I can finish it. I rearranged the posters on my walls a few days ago and it looks good. I want to move my bedroom furniture around but nah. Too much effort and my room is fine the way it is. The way I spice things up is by changing posters and photos now.

Sometimes you need to distance yourself from people that frustrate you, even if they are good friends. I feel I need to do that with someone at the moment. I do like them but have recently found myself getting annoying at little things they do/say. Give me a few weeks and everything will be back to normal, but don't keep pushing me because I'll snap. The hard part is that they have no idea who they are.

These holidays have gone pretty fast even though I'm looking forward to seeing people at school. I have been surprisingly busy. I'm hardly ever busy during holidays unless I go away somewhere. This year is nearly over and that's a scary thought. I bet I will end up changing all my subjects in term 1 next year. Mufti is an exciting prospect.

I am now listening to "summer lovin" by The Media Says. And no, it's not a cover from the Grease song.

I haven't blogged in a while and I didn't think I would write so much in this one. I like it but I have to remember to be careful what I say because anyone can read this. Not that anyone does. I ate some cornships before and they have a rank after-taste.

Poppa's wedding

It started out as a slow, there-is-nobody-here-I-know evening until the ceremony. That part was very sweet but went for a very long time. Amy and I were standing there in our high heels with aching feet thinking "come on, come on, hurry up" but it was ok. Seeing the adults get a bit tipsy was funny.

The food - something I was looking forward to lol - was very nice. I tried ratatouille for the first time and it was so good. And there were the best prawns I had ever had. And salmon/cream cheese/cucumber creations, sushi, chicken wrapped in bacon and so much other delicious food. At the end there was about 100 of the prettiest cupcakes all laid out on the bench, two flavours - lemon and chocolate.

I was disappointed that there were only 2 or 3 other teenagers apart from me and my cousins at first, but I got over that soon enough because I have the best cousins ever. There are only 7 of us on my mum's side - Amy, Rachel, Renae, Alyse, Luke, John and myself. I think that's a mighty fine number. I used to wish I had 20 cousins but now I am so grateful for what I have. We are all really close too.

The photos ... well where do I start. Amy and Renae took the most out of us young ones, can't wait to see them uploaded onto facebook! And there was the photographer-and-also-the-bride's-son Chris and he took heaps with his fancy wide lens camera. He is going to put those onto cds and distribute them around. Ah cannot wait!

Getting to wear my new wedding outfit was an initial highlight but didn't matter after a while. Plus the shoes were killing me. I actually wore the ones I got for the ball this year. New dress though :) Everyone scrubbed up so well. All the girls wearing high heels, and let me tell you, we are not the type to usually wear them.

The singer was very good and played a great variety of songs which by the end of the night we were all singing/yelling to. When he sang "rocket man" by Elton John at the very beginning, he got to the part where the lyrics were "and I think it's gonna be a long, long time" Alyse raised her eyebrows and nodded her head, then we proceeded to crack up laughing and nearly spill our drinks. At that stage we were thinking it was going to be a long evening. Luckily that changed lol.

Overall it was a really great evening, and it's so nice to see Poppa and Colleen finally married! So cute :)

Don't dew it

It's fun to mock songs and take the piss but recently it occurred to me that there are some songs you just shouldn't mock. Love the way you lie is one of them. It's the sad/serious beautiful songs that touch you when you hear them. That song doesn't do anything for me but for a lot of people it does. I love making fun of songs like omg by usher and bunz by the new boyz. That shit is awesome. But don't go too far. Don't you hate it when a great song is ruined by a bad memory? You shouldn't ruin somebody else's favourite song. God I love being able to get things off my mind via this blog.

Facebook etiquette

How things should be according to Kate :)

1. If someone leaves a mean-but-joking comment on a photo, wallpost, status etc do NOT *like* it because it's not your joke and has nothing to do with you. It also makes it seem less joking and makes you look like a dick for agreeing with it. Stay the fuck out of it.

2. Don't leave cryptic statuses like "had such an amazing night with ___ and ___, can't wait to do it again! *insert inside joke here*". It just pisses everyone off who is reading it.

3. If someone says something nice about one of your photos don't say "no it's not" or "I don't even like this one" because obviously you do - you uploaded it onto facebook. And it's insulting to the person who complimented you.

4. If people are ganging up on someone with comments and shit - even if you don't like them - stick up for them (unless they truly deserve it). Comment something like "hey leave her/him alone".

5. If it's someone's birthday, write on their wall even if you hardly know them. It's always a nice surprise to see who cares enough to wish you a happy birthday.

6. Don't post depressing statuses every fucking time, it gets old very quickly. Once in a while is tolerable.

7. Don't post statuses about the same thing EVERY TIME. Nobody gives that much of a shit about your car or your puppy.

8. Don't add a fuck load of people you don't even know. Heaps of people add the occasional hot random person but don't go overboard and add everyone in your entire fucking school.

9. Don't have an entire photo album dedicated to your face. I made that mistake once and I will not do it again. It makes you seem like a vain bitch. Overhearing someone say something about it was the wake up call I needed to get rid of the photos.

10. Your profile picture should be of YOU, not you dog, not your car. For fucks sake, it's not their facebook page, it's yours.

Thank you Readers for putting up with my whining and bullshit.

In a blogging mood at the mo

I was having a very healthy-eating day yesterday until mum brought home noodle canteen for dinner and cream puffs for dessert. Adios self control. Super delicious though. Today started well until I found a packet of grain waves. They are now gone. 150 grams ... gone. I am now drinking berocca to keep me energized or whatever that shit does.

A lot of cliches makes me angry to hear or read. Like you only live once, when one door closes another door opens, live laugh love, and there are more fish in the sea. They are all very true but waaay too over used and it frustrates me. Every second person will have at least one of them on their facebook page. I like cute, obscure ones though like don't fall in love - it will stick to your face. That one is sweet.

It is official, I am basically the only one still blogging. This is no fun for me not being able to read my homies blogs.

So what is on my mind ... my favourite songs at this minute are:
Wear my kiss - the sugababes
Only prettier - miranda lambert
Check it out - will.i.am featuring nicki minaj
La la la - auburn featuring iyaz
Forget you - cee lo green
Hot tottie - usher featuring jay z
Rhythm of love - the plain white t's
Waka waka - shakira
Buildings - general fiasco
Tetris - decav5
Wouldn't change a thing - camp rock 2
Stay - miley cyrus
Last friday night - katy perry
Something in the water - brooke fraser
Before it explodes - alexandra burke featuring bruno mars
Kickstarts - example
Nothing to lose - bret michaels featuring miley cyrus
September - daughtry

Well this blog turned into a list of some of my favourite music. Great. Nah it's not so bad, it had to go in some direction. Time for a new topic ...

I have two exams left; health and biology. The bio one will be the worst, Te Aniwa says it's extremely hard. I will get so bored over these holidays. I should be studying but I'd rather procrastinate. And check facebook every now and then to see if anything new has come up. But as they say, a watched pot never boils. Ha! Another cliche. I can tolerate that one because hardly anyone says it these days. Now it's more like a watched website never loads.

I feel like taking vain photos of myself but I did that on saturday. Bad idea to take to many à la someone I know. She is pretty but still, get over yourself bitch. I have some photos stored on my computer but I don't upload them all to facebook at once. Just gradually feed them through. I need a new creative outlet. Photography gets old quick because there is hardly ever anything new and exciting to take pictures of that people will be interested in looking at.

Sooo I am bored and have nothing else to write about. I will make an effort to keep writing over the holidays for you special one or two people who read this.

Jokes. Warning: some may be dirty. Parental supervision reccomended.

What does a white woman make for dinner? Reservations.

What do you call a kid with no arms and an eye patch? Names.

Underage girl, sucking on daddy's cock, gets jizzed on all over he ... Oh I'm sorry, I thought this was a google image search.

The Maori Party are complaining about not having enough Maori's on T.V ... TVNZ responded by screening Police 10-7 seven nights a week.

How many paedophiles can you fit in my Mini? Just me. The other seats are for the kids.

I got stopped by a woman in the street today. She said,"Excuse me, sir, have you had an accident in the last three years that wasn't your fault?" I said, "Yes, she's nearly 2 now".

A bloke goes into the doctors and says, "I've got a mole on my dick, can you remove it please?" So the chap pulls his trousers and pants down, and the doc says, "Yes sir, I can remove that mole ... but I'm afraid I'm going to have to report you to the SPCA".

I was walking through town today and a woman stopped me and said "Hi, I'm from the spastics society and we're having a collection today could you help us?"
"I am sorry," I said, "I don't actually have any spastics."
I've never been called a cunt by a charity worker before.

I can't stand those interfering people who bang on your door and tell you how you need to be "saved" or you'll "burn"? Fucking firemen.

What's big, Scottish and depressing? Scotland.

They say you'll never forget your first kiss. This was mine.
Her name was Sally and she lived next door. My best friend, well for all of that summer. So out playing one day down by the farm, we'd stopped for shelter from a shower of rain in an old barn. I was playfully running my fingers through Sally's hair when she st...arted to kiss me; her mouth slightly open, I could feel her tongue with mine. It was my first real kiss, and I loved it. I fell head over heels in love that day. We often visited the barn during that long, hot summer and it didn’t stop at just kissing, but sadly a couple of months later Sally was involved in a car accident and had to be put down.

Ferrari's Formula 1 team manager decided to employ some Maori teenagers as their pit crew. This was because of their renowned skill at removing car wheels quickly. At the first practice session, not only did they change all 4 wheels in 6 seconds, but within 12 seconds they had re-sprayed, re-badged & sold the fucker to... the McLaren team for 8 cases of Tui, a bag of weed, a KFC family bucket and a ratty old, matte black Skyline with no front kit.

What's the best thing about fucking 23 year olds? There's 20 of them.

Clearasil have released a new product called Haiti earthquake. It wipes 200,000 black heads at once.

"iPad is thin. iPad is beautiful." My laptop developed an eating disorder because of that advert.

I've just been sacked from my job at the deli counter for sticking my cock into the bacon slicer. She got fired as well.

What do you call a spastic in a wheelchair? Anything you want, they"ll just smile and try to hug you.

Friday, July 30, 2010

Yeah this is a long one, bear with me.

Calling me weird is an understatement. I have a twisted sense of humour and am attracted to guys that nobody else seems to notice. I don't really feel the cold. Never wore a school jersey for ages and everyone was like "omg aren't you cold?" but it's not like I was in any danger of frostbite and concequential amputation that would follow. I have an email address called katehatesyourface@yahoo.co.nz but I don't remember the last time I used it. I'm not a person who thrives in a party atmosphere and likes meeting new people. I hate school but would be bored shitless if I was home-schooled. I have a thing for techno music now. For some you have to prepare yourself. "For what?" you may say. The answer? To have your shit rocked, bitch. I like some metal music also but I haven't yet explored the vast world of it. There is one particular song that is all screaming and cymbals and shrieking guitar that I listen to when throwing kittens against a wall. Kidding about the last part. See, that is an example of my humour. Dead baby jokes are also mint. I am seriously damaged goods.

I like to laugh at other's misfortune. I think Taylor Lautner has a face like a smacked bum. No idea what my friends (cough cough, Megan) see in him. But Rupert Grint, on the other hand. He is gorgeous. Everyone knows he's my number one celebrity crush. Yes, i'm being serious. Shut up. And Zac Efron? ew. Call me when he grows some balls and I might reconsider. When people ask me if I like him, part of me is tempted to say "yes, of course, and I also have a 15-inch dick", being the sarcastic little hoe that I am.

I hate physics. Just elaborating on the previous "I hate school" comment. Boys distract me also. I always find myself glancing at them in class when I should be concentrating. Sometimes one in particular is a big distraction. It's like a maddening, unscratchable itch on the inside of my skull when he has captured my interest long-term. Back to physics, the class is like a pack of sedated zoo animals when the teacher is explainning something and showing off his brain-calculator abilities. I am so lost in that class. Holy crap my report from him was ugly. Mr NameObscured basically implied I should drop physics and take up basket-weaving (he mentioned basket-weaving previously as an alternative for those who can't handle the whaledick sized task of mastering level two physics). When I got given my report I thought I should probably start planning my funeral music because I was sure mum would go apeshit. So I put off giving it to her for 3 weeks and fabricated a story about why it was late.

The thought of the upcoming exams is damaging my emotional stability. But not as much as some people ... if I don't pass - of course I care - but not really that much. I'm not going to cry about it. I will just sit at home in front of the tv, possessed by the biscuit demon, and eat.

So this is the conclusion of my saturday evening mental clutter release.

Thursday, July 29, 2010

people ... ugh

I hate it when I'm walking from where the bus drops me off to my driveway, and people wave at me as I'm walking. I think "don't you fucking wave at me you creepy fuck, keep driving" because it mildly irritates me. It's ok if they know me but I haven't encountered anyone who does.

love getting off topic

Mum and John were sitting at the dining table working on John's essay on "The fat boy" and they were arguing a bit because Mum wasn't quite grasping the essay question. She kept describing the physical attributes of the main character instead of describing what he was like, which led John to say "when you're describing spongebob you don't say that he's a little sponge" and that made me crack up; dissolving the tense atmosphere. We were all laughing about that and we kept, like, getting over it and stop laughing but one person would still be chuckling to themself which made the others start again. I had to leave the room in the end as I was choking on my dinner slightly. Quite a funny evening, since it could have ended with yelling and frustration. Love you spongebob :)

Almost as funny as when I seat-belted the bag of potatoes in the back seat this afternoon :P

i know i say this heaps

I'm so fucking sick of having a violent brother who has anger management problems. He lashed out at me today for what should have been nothing at all. I wouldn't watch a youtube video that he wanted me to and it was my turn on the computer. I didn't cry until he was gone though which was good for me. Mum isn't home yet and things would have been different if she was. I feel defenseless when it's just me and John at home but it's not mum's fault that she has to work. John takes things too far and doesn't know when enough is enough. If I'm say something mean to him, he's twice as mean back and seems to think it's fair. I really wish I was an only child. So bad.

not gonna do that again

It would be unsurprising for me to write about the school/gunman/lockdown thing that occurred this morning but nah.

I was talking to a guy named Brian on Omegle and he was really cool and funny but then he started telling me he loved me and all this shit. He wrote me a poem and told me he would move to NZ to be with me. He kept changing his story, like "I'm in high school" then "I work for the government" and other scenarios. And then he started talking a bit dirty. This encounter has put me off Omegle for a while. Be internet-safe people.

These are probably not that accurate

"But the fourth kind, there's nothing more frightening than the fourth. You see, that one is when they abduct you"

"These facts do appear to be real" "They are real goddammit"

"There's something outside my door. It's gonna open it! The door's opening! Oh my God! Oh my God!! No! Noooo! (screams)"

"A beam of light came down and they took her. They took my little girl up into the sky. I saw it, August, I saw it! They took her through the ceiling"

"Holy shit, there's something above the Tyler house, a beam of light and it's sucking them up through the roof"

"All I can see is an owl but I know it's not an owl"

"The worse part was the voice inside my head. They talk to you so you can hear them but they also talk inside your mind"

I'm in love

... with Travis Garland. He is an amazing singer and songwriter and his music is just incredible. His version of "Airplanes" (originally by B.o.B and Hayley Williams) is immeasurably better than theirs. The lyrics are perfect. Love love love :)

Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now
Wish right now
Wish right now

I'm praying that this stairway
Leads somewhere
Like heaven's door
And when you get there don't look down
Don't look down
Don't look down

Change of mind

Me and Megan were in town today and saw Eclipse and we also saw heaps of cute babies and small children and that made me quite clucky. I'm over it now but at the time I wanted to get pregnant and be a mum. Quite an unsuccessful shopping day to be honest. I didn't get anything apart from a movie ticket and food.

I dyed my hair dark brown last night but it doesn't even look that different. Just darker lol. But I like it anyway.

Isn't that just the icing on the cake

I'm in a real crap mood. Seems to be a frequent occurence recently. I hate this sunny weather. Call me emo or whatever but I love cloudy days and night time. My brother is being annoying because he's bored. I haven't started my holiday homework and it's thursday. Mum says she's booking me some driving lessons next holidays because I'm so reluctant to learn. Yeah mum, lessons are gonna make me feel differently. Not.

I'm missing people from school and I'm stranded at home. Which brings up another thing, I'm going to be friendless after high school and heaps of people are going to drop out at the end of this year. Well fcuk them.

I should go do something useful but I'm too pissed off right now.

I'm not vicious really. I consider myself to be kindhearted. I love my mum.

not too sure about this

I was watching a program about men on deathrow in prisions last night and one thing that caught my attention was that some of the inmates had penpals. I want my own convict to write to. I found a website for it but I'm not sure if I should or not. I would appreciate opinions about this. Cheers.

well fuck you

There are some people you think are awesome until they do something that pisses you off, hurts you or confuses you and then your opinion of them changes. The person I have in mind - when furiously typing this blog - doesn't know I'm talking about him/her. Not giving clues to who it is either. And don't ask me in person because I won't tell you (even though I love my followers for reading this).

FUCK YOU ******* (I even put the wrong amount of stars for their name).

DWW

I love Down With Webster. For yous who don't know them, they are a bit like LMFAO but more chilled. Songs I lke by them are:
Your man
Go go girl
Whoa is me
Grind
Weekends
Your Man is the best one btw. When I first heard it I was deciding whether or not to download it and luckily I chose to because now I freaking love DWW.

That's my little rant about em.

townin again

Me and mum towned again today. Went to Spotlight, Orrs Pharmacy and a few other places. I got a lamb-bag (like a handbag but it looks like a toy sheep). It's very cute and I got lots of adoring looks from people as I carried it around with me. Mum thinks it is stupid but she doesn't understand modern fashion very well. I got complimented on it once :)

Omg we got KFC for dinner and I got a cookies and cream crusher and it was very nice but cold. Haven't had KFC in months and months. I like popcorn chicken.

I watched a youtube video of a group of guys singing "bad romance" in acapella and it was funny. They are very talented. I think they call themselves "On the rocks". Yeah I don't know why either.

So yeah.

i'm the adult here

Last night I walked into my room, hoping to just jump straight into bed, but alas! no sheets. I ran back up the hallway and asked my mum where they were and she said "in the dryer" and I said "how long will they be?" and she told me I had to teach her some tecktonik moves before she would tell me. I then told her "I don't know any, I just flail my arms about" and she said "you're mean". Wtf?

Today we went to the supermarket and we went to pak n' save instead of countdown (lol i accidently typed cuntdown but I corrected it hahaha). I saw an old man buying skippy cornflakes and I smiled because I thought that was really cute. When mum grabbed a bottle of red wine off the shelf I loudly said "it will only slow your recovery" and we both laughed. She's not an alcoholic btw. I joke.

We also went to number one shoe warehouse because mum needed some black shoes for work. I apparently "embarrassed" her by singing along to Adam Lambert but then she embarrassed me by singing along to Gin Wigmore. I had to keep telling her to put shoes back on the shelf that weren't black because she gets distracted easily. I told her "maybe another time".

sunny sunday

I was making peanut butter and chocolate chips cookies this afternoon and I was listening to my ipod. The song "Bunz" by New Boyz was on and I was dancing along to that and then - the ipod was on shuffle - "Time to say goodbye" by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman came on. The difference was so comical. I paused for a moment to process that.

Now I'm just chilling at the computer listening to the Gorillaz and checking facebook. It's no lie when people say you can't go online without going on facebook.

Travelling in a fried-out combie

I like music. I downloaded a few songs today, new and old. Like "Land down under" by Men At Work and "Airplanes part II" by B.o.B, Hayley Williams & Eminem. I lovelove the song "Love the way you lie" but unfortunately so does everyone else. I'm also liking Miley's version of "Every rose has it's thorn". I started listening to it thinking it would be shit but I actually like it. She did butcher it a bit when it came to the harmonising though. And she's still a whore :)

I'm going to Megan's tomorrow. I couldn't get out of it. Lol jk I want to go :D

Dirty mind

I was at my cousin's place today and they were assembling their new oven. The funny part was when I overheard them saying things like "put the big peg in the rear hole" and "that's a big rack". I had to stifle giggles because it would have been inappropriate to laugh at something like that in a catholic household. After that event we downloaded some music like Meatloaf and Jack Johnson.

Now I'm at home rekindling my like of blogging. I bet nobody is reading this. Oh well, I enjoy writing it. Now my friends must also start again because it's pretty dumb being the only one who is doing this.

Holidays

I'm so freaking bored. There is seriously nothing to do during the day. All I did today was watch tv, surf the web, tidy my room, wash the dishes and collect firewood. And eat. Now I'm blogging during the ads of Desperate Housewives. I spent quite a while before finding pictures on photobucket to put on my ipod. Mainly hot male celebrities.

I'm going to my cousin's place tomorrow afternoon which I am looking forward to. It annoys me that all the good tv shows are on late at night when there is other things to do. I am a night person when it comes to homework. I should start the maths pages Mr Raj so kindly assigned us for the holidays. And the bio booklet. I bet I will leave it until the last days. That's how I roll.

A guy is sexy when he ...

Has slightly crooked teeth.
Wears a plain white shirt with jeans.
Has broad shoulders.
Wears a warm-looking grey hoodie.
Is driving.
Has two shirt buttons undone.
Is shaving his face. Not legs or anywhere gay like that.
Smells nice and masculine but not too strongly.
Is holding a baby.
Can play the accoustic guitar or piano. Not both. That's overachieving.
Is good at drawing.
Has a deep husky voice.
Has long hair. Like at least 7cm. But not too long.
Doesn't shy away from a camera.
Suits aviator sunglasses.
Can make skinny jeans look manly.

That's my personal list :)

My brain is running dry

I used to have brilliant blog ideas, now I ain't got shit. A person who I confide in has gone away for about two weeks and I need someone to tell stuff to. I will probably regret telling another person. So I won't. Wow I just made a decision as I wrote. I want to talk about boys with someone. Haven't had a good gossip session in a while.

It is the first Sunday of the holidays and I'm already really bored. Two weeks to go. I sort of want to be at school, minus the work. Miss my friends. And it's only been two days lol. We are having a sleepover sometime next week I think.

The last day of term was fun but a bit sad because of all the people leaving school. Got quite a few pictures. Check out my facebook to see em ;)

I ate too much today and now I feel rather sick. And it's dinner time soon. Blargh.

I need to vent (I edited it a bit)

DON'T READ THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HEAR ME WHINING.

Good day to start with. All my subjects went well (including physics) and I was in a good mood. And then I got home ...

People, please don't talk about me behind my back. I don't like it and there is a good chance I will find out. Cheers.

My brother is being a dick and he has been since he walked in the door.

Mum is angsty because we decided not to go to the stage challenge preview night and she had previously declined a dinner invitation because she thought we were going. Buuut, it's unaffordable at the moment.

I have had a cry about it and now I'm fine, but some days are just too stressful. Everything just piles up and can be a little overwhelming.

My pleasant day

Went out shopping with mum today. We went to Bunnings Warehouse to look at concrete mixers but ended up getting nail things to hang pictures on. I also convinced her to get a hammer. You never know when you'll need one. Bunnings reminds me of christmas and the north pole because all the employees are walking around purposefully or pushing a trolley, wearing their red and green uniforms including a little green hat :) And there are so many of them! They are quite a jolly lot.

We also went to Barrells to get a radio, and one speaker system thing looked like an alien so mum was like "Hello" and stuck out her hand as if she were going to give it a handshake. I laughed. And then I was like "Take me to your leader". I was just humouring her. We went to Barrells first, then to Harvey Norman, and then back to Barrells. We talked to an employee named Chris the first time so we demanded we talk to him again when we returned. He have us a discount :) I like Chris.

So that was my day pretty much. We went to that cafe called Mokka - by Spotlight - after we got errthing. They make the best slices ever! I had the cookies and cream one again. I'm listening to the song "Cooler than me" by Mike Posner on repeat because I just downloaded it and it's awesome. It's inevitable that I will get sick of it shortly. This morning before we left for town I was watching America's Best Dance Crew and there was one really hot guy ;)

What a traumatising supermarket trip

Reason 1:
There was a lady wearing grey leggings instead of pants and she had a cameltoe.

Reason 2:
There was a fat lady who was rubbing her fat hairy partner's back affectionately. He was wearing a tight singlet. Gag.

Reason 3:
Mr Davies was there and he grabbed his wife's ass. I wish I could unsee that.

My weekend with dad

We went shopping on Saturday - spent most of the time at the warehouse - and got photos printed, frames for them, a rubbish bin, two duvet covers, a dinner set and new sheets. It was fun. Dad had heaps of photos in a box so when we got home I put them into frames. The room I have claimed as mine at his house has awful walls so I covered them with photos and posters. I watched 500 Days of Summer again today. I love that movie, it's one of my favourites. I'm in an oddly peaceful mood right now. I'm reading the True Blood series again. I'm onto the second book. I didn't get to sleep for a while last night because I kept thinking about .. stuff, and my brain would not shut up.

Me and mum are off to the supermarket shortly. I hope I see the extremely tall, handsome guy again. I've seen him the last two times.

I did something naughty

I'm at home catching up on my mountains of homework when I should be at school. I pretended to be sick this morning, well I actually did feel sick when I woke up but that only lasted half an hour. I was over it by about 8:30. I have finished my english essay which is due today (I did the whole thing 5 minutes ago) and finished task 2 of my health assignment which was due yesterday. Now I gotta do my maths, physics and task 3 for health. I'm kinda glad I'm at home or else I wouldn't get half this stuff done. If only my mum would let me stay home .. eh.

I also stayed up until 11:00pm last night recovering the front of all my school books. I left the backs they way they are but I don't really feel comfortable having all those photos on the front anymore. At the start of the year I thought it was a brilliant idea because I'd seen other people who did that and it looked awesome. I liked them before but yeah. On other people's books it's fine. I guess I'm just too insecure.

WOOO!!!!!!

Attention grabbing title isn't it. Well this is going to be a disappointing blog. I bet you're expecting something awesome. This ain't.

It's the ball soon and errbody is talking about it. It sucks how many people don't want to go. It will still be cool though. Even though I will probably end up wearing the same dress as someone else. I don't really care. My attitude towards the ball has changed so much since last year. I used to think I should go all out and get an amazing dress and have perfect hair, but now I'm focusing more on having fun than looking good. But I do still want to look nice :)

Got mah ticket today. I was stressing about that a wee bit. I know they won't sell out for a while - and may not sell out at all - but I still wanted to get mine quick. Ugh I don't want the friggen year 11s there. I want Saehee, Louise and India to go. If you're reading this you three, come!

I'm getting behind in my school work but am not motivated enough to do anything about it. Screw work :D

Monday, May 3, 2010

I don't care anyway. Ok maybe I do.

I don't think of myself as untrustworthy. I can keep secrets unless the person said I can tell. I wish I could read minds. Know what people are thinking when they say "I know who so-and-so likes but I can't tell you". Know what guys are thinking when I talk to them. Know what people really think when they give me a compliment. You know, be able to tell if it's genuine.

I can tell almost any of my friends my secrets. Not my big ones because they are too embarrassing. But just ones like who I have a crush on, who is ticking me off etc. It hurts my feelings a little when they can't tell me secrets like that but there's nothing I can do about that.

I also hate blackmailers :P

I'm unorganised

I haven't got a ball dress.
I haven't done my maths homework that is due tomorrow. It's 6:55pm right now.
I haven't done my physics homework. For a few weeks now.
I was meant to do homework today but I spent the day with my dad, nan, poppa, great uncle david and great aunty barbara.
I spend money on random things I don't need then wonder why I'm broke.
I would rather watch paint dry than do homework to be honest. Staring at the page is more appealing than doing the work.
I'm going to be homeless or working at a supermarket for the rest of my life.

Wednesday, April 28, 2010

I get over things really quick ...

... like guys, music, clothes, arguements, school, moods etc. But then there are things that I just don't get over. Like some songs. I've listened to "Better than me" by Hinder sooo many times but I still love it. Even when I thrash it by listening to it on repeat. I get over guys extremely fast. I've heard of people liking a person for like two terms or more. For me it's usually one term maximum but hardly ever that long. That's one reason marriage doesn't really appeal to me.

edit later, guests arrived

Well in the future if I say I'm gonna edit later I probably won't because it feels like homework when I'm not in the mood. End of.

Why oh why

Why do I take alright photos but still don't think I'm beautiful? And like Hayley wrote about a while ago, why do the pretty girls think they aren't? I think all my friends are gorgeous but not all of them see that. I want to shake them and then give them a mirror or something. Stupid pretty girls.

On the bus there is a girl who is physically attractive and when I first saw her I was like "wow", but she's a real bitch and now I think she's ugly because of that. Personality plays a surprisingly huge role in a person's attractiveness.

I know I sometimes say things like "I'm so pretty" or "I look stunning in that photo" but I don't actually mean it. Maybe if I say it enough I'll start to believe it. Hopefully.

On another note, my brother told me he googled my blog but couldn't find it. I must change the name and be more careful about what I write. Eek :S

Thursday, April 22, 2010

Awkward

My brother was watching me over my shoulder when I was looking up on Yahoo Answers "how to deal with my violent/rude brother". Shit. He laughed about it so it was ok. But still ...

The Ball

I have my eye on a few dresses for this year's ball. They are full length ones from America that are available online. There's honestly too much choice but I'm glad there is. And why are the best ones so expensive? I know that's a stupid question but it annoys me. If I'm going to order one I should do it soon. Better have one very early than too late. I'm going to sell my old one on trademe to pay for the new one. Hope someone buys it. I'm quite excited. I hope heaps of guys go this year. It wouldn't be the same without them. Although we may not admit it, part of the reason us girls go all out is to impress the boys. I also should book a time for my hair. Hopefully my cousin Amy will do my make up. I guess I could do it myself but she's pretty pro.

Might ...

I might like a guy who might be in one of my classes. I might have told two people who might have promised not to tell anyone, and I might not want to tell anyone else. I might not like it if anyone asks me who he is. I might want to keep it a secret apart from my close friends who I might tell sometime. They might not approve but I might have an odd list of people who I might have previously liked, so I might not care. The word might is starting to look weird now.

I hate parents who think the sun shines out of their kids asses

*All names have been changed.

Penelope has two daughters who are really nice and cool but not funny at all. Penelope thinks her daughters are hilarious and tells people how funny they are. Those people smile politely and say things that make it look like they agree.

Christina also has two daughters who are pretty and nice but are just average people. Christina thinks her youngest is very intelligent and her eldest is all-round incredible. They are both of average or less smartness and they are quite lazy. Time for a wake up call Christina.

My mum thinks me and my brother are the coolest kids around. My brother is a menace and he deserves a bullet. I can totally see why she loves me though. Lol jokes. But maybe one day if I have my own kids I will be able to see what these doting mothers do.

Muh

Running is a bitch to do when you're unfit. I started again yesterday and just got back home now from today's one. I used to be able to run and run until I wasn't puffed anymore and still keep going. Now it's run then walk then run then walk etc. My dog Chloe came with me today but I'm not taking her tomorrow because she's a pain. She pulls ahead at the start and then I have to carry her when she gets tired. She gets stubborn and won't budge.

Weell it's the last day of the holidays. Of wonderful freedom. I still haven't done my snail poster or finished Lord of the Flies or done my physics homework. Or my health stuff. Naughty me. Oh well it's nothing that can't wait. Woo Modern Family is on tonight. Love that show.

Review of the holidays

It is wednesday. The holidays have been pretty boring. Haven't started homework yet. Still don't want to return to school. Going to Oakura tonight for two nights. I don't really want to go but I have lots of library books to keep me occupied. I'm somehow reading 3 books at the moment. I started one for school, forgot about it and started another. Then when I went to the library again I started one of the new ones I got. It's surprisingly easy to keep up with 3 different stories at once. I alternate between them. Don't tell anyone but I enjoy reading Animal Farm and Lord of the Flies. Everyone else seems to struggle through them but not me :)

I want to murder my brother. I kinda think a lifetime jail sentence would be worth it. He needs a creative outlet for all his excess energy.

That's all until Friday. I'll probably write again then when I'm back.

Random laughing mood with my mum

We were in the lounge together watching American Idol as we do most Friday nights, and I think it all started when Ellen made the comment to Katie I think it was, "Have you heard of the term 'gild the lily'?" and then mum said that sounded like a lesbian term. I laughed for so long about that. During the ad breaks that drink driving ad where there are two guys in a ute and they're all like "She's totally into you bro haha" and then they crash and one's like "GET THE HELL OFF ME". Well, you know the one? That ad was played like 3 times and on the third time mum was like "That girl Shelley" at exactly the same time the actor said it. Laughed about that for ages too. Then later on there was an ad for Adam Lambert's album and mum was pretending to be him and ws saying "Mr camera man, shoot me again" and stuff like that.

Andrew Garcia was wicked awesome last night, he sang "Forever" by Chris Brown and he played his guitar and everything. Both mum and I noticed that he was all hunched up on his stool. He had both feet up and he was holding his guitar was too high or something. And his microphone needed to be higher. We thought he looked like a turtle. Aaron was last and he sang "Ain't no sunshine" but it sounded like "Anal sunshine" and that made us crack up everytime he sang that part.

I had a few pieces of chocolate for dessert and the cat was sitting on my lap. She apparently loves chocolate (as I found out last night) and kept trying to eat it. When I finished I blew in her face and she leaned forward and just about stuck her nose in my mouth. I was like wtf.

So yeah, that was my night :D

Mr Raj

The topic of Mr Raj came up when I was talking to Hayley on Facebook chat. We both thought that a blog entry about him would be the bees knees. So here we go.

Mr Raj is a maths teacher at Kamo High. He's from Sri Lanka (?) and has a melodious voice. He always rolls the letter R when he speaks. He has a few favourite lines that he always uses, like "QUIET PLEEASE!" and "Isn't it?". He had a random lump on his forehead from hitting his head or the corner of a car door. Sucks for him that it never went away lol. He's quite the pushover really, but when he loses his cool it's so funny. He hasn't quite mastered the english language yet and says "24 percentage" instead or "24 percent", for example. He made a "your mum" joke a few years ago. He didn't realize it but when we told him he got all proud and acted like he meant to do it.

Omg he cracked a lame joke last term and it was something like "You can't have 83.3 people! You can't cut somebody in half, it's a criminal offense." And then he proceeded to walk around the classroom laughing to himself for 5 minutes straight. It wasn't a loud laugh, more like panting, as a dog would. You see, Mr Raj is a quiet person and assumingly doesn't like to show emotion. Te Aniwa and I once had a little discussion about what we thought his sex life would be like lol. We concluded that he seemed like he would only do it when neccessary and on special occasions like Christmas.

Hayley and I were talking about him in biology a little while ago about imagining him as a midget and keeping him in a cage. We planned to give him calculators and rulers as rewards for good behaviour and make him angry by poking him with a stick. I had the funniest mental picture of him - in midget form - furiously rattling the bars of his cage and yelling in his yodelly voice.

That's pretty much all I need to say about him I think :D

Holidays

I'm bored. There's honestly nothing to do around here. I've already watched two movies today and I'm onto my third, and it's only 11.21 am. Oh, and happy easter to everyone blah blah blah. What is easter even for anyway? Not that I'm complaining. I got a chocolate bunny. I watched Music & Lyrics last night. Or was it the night before? Anyway, it's a cool movie. I want to spend some time with my cousins before school starts again. Heaps of people hate their family but I'm rather fond of mine (with the exception of two individuals who I will not name).

Ugh major mind blank. Might edit later.

Worst day I've had in ages

Woke up, could hardly get out of bed, so tired.
Brother was obnoxious (as usual).
My unifrom shirt was wrinkly.
Person sitting in front of me on the bus stank.
Had personalised learning first and that was actually ok. I helped the teacher sort out this messy as shelf in her classroom.
Maths test.
Didn't finish my health work for the term.
I now have to read Lord of the Flies for english. I don't really like it.
Missed biology to go to the orthodontist and they hurt my teeth.
Walked to the whangarei library and found 5 books that looked really cool but then mum's library card was rejected because of the mammoth fines on it.
Mum was mean to me in the car on the way home.
Walk inside and john greets me with an insult.
Ask mum if we can get dominoes pizza for dinner to help the people going on the overseas history trip, but no, we are invited to go to my poppa's place for dinner. This means I will have a really late night.
My ipod battery is low.
I'm now writing this blog. That was my day.

American Idol

At the start I wanted Todrick, Lilly, Lacey, Andrew, Casey, Tyler or Didi to win. Now I like Todrick, Lilly, Andrew, Casey, Alex, Lee, Tim and Siobhan. I hate it when I've liked a person from the start and then they win or come runner up and nobody believes me when I say I was going for them right from go. I would like to make a shout out to the person with the YouTube username whoakittykat for uploading the songs from the show. You rock. One of the main reasons I like Tim Urban is that I saw a picture of him with no shirt on (don't worry Rupert Grint, you're still my number one :P). He also sang a really nice song last time. I hated Lee at first and I don't know why because he's actually really good. Siobhan is weird but I think she's funky and she's got some powerful pipes. She totally owned that Aretha Franklin song.
Hmm that's all I guess.

20 things I love and 20 things I hate

Hate:
1. Hearing strange noises when I'm home alone at night.
2. Vanessa Hudgens' singing voice. Apparently before she was in HSM she was planning to audition for American Idol. I wish she did. I would have loved to see Simon verbally abuse her and crush her dreams. Then she could crawl into a hole and become a twitchy little hermit.
3. When I fancy someone who only likes me as a friend.
4. Sunburn and peeling as a result. Tan lines, also.
5. When the contestant I hate wins the TV show.
6. People with flawless skin.
7. iPod shuffles. There is no fricken screen. wtf.
8. Liars.
9. People who wear clothes that are too small and their muffin top bulges over the top of their pants. And people who wear clothes that are way too big. Pants on the ground, pants on the ground, lookin' like a fool ...
10. People who are mean to animals.
11. When I get a test back and got almost everything wrong.
12. Loving junk food and not so much the healthy food.
13. People who are naturally good at everything.
14. When my brother hogs the computer when I need it, but when I don't he's always doing something else.
15. Tattoos of faces.
16. Crocs. No elaboration needed there.
17. Words with silent letters.
18. Busting to go toilet but the person who went before stunk it out and there's no other toilet available.
19. Talking to someone who has really bad breath or spits when they talk but they don't realize.
20. People who don't get my sense of humour and think I'm insane or on drugs.

Love:
1. Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter movies (not the books so much).
2. Black and white photos.
3. The way Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory talks.
4. Inside jokes.
5. Hot teachers.
6. The new Vodafone ads with the little white people.
7. Comfortable silences on the phone.
8. Finding an amazing new band that none of my friends know about. But then I tell them of course.
9. Having a photogenic day.
10. Laughing so hard I can't breathe.
11. Being up to date with everything.
12. When the sky is covered with grey clouds but the air is warm and dry.
13. Overhearing someone say something nice about me. It makes me feel better than when someone gives me a compliment to my face.
14. Casey from American Idol. Kara loves him too. She practically jizzes in her pants when she watches him sing. I like Todrick too.
15. Not being the last person to hear the latest news.
16. Reading a funny new joke.
17. Hearing a song on the radio that I haven't heard in years.
18. Fun websites like Facebook, Picnik and Youtube.
19. Accomplishing something I thought I couldn't do.
20. When I look in the mirror and feel beautiful.

I'm not sure I get this

I think this is going to be just like facebook, I'm not going to understand it for ages and then *click*, I will become addicted. I must be careful that I don't treat this like a diary and forget that other people have access to these posts. That could be embarrassing. I could end up pouring out my feelings about certain people and not realize that my friends could be reading it.

I tried on my last year's ball dress and it still fits. I need an occasion to wear it again but not at this year's ball. Mum says nobody will remember but I can guarantee they will. I'm 16 and I still love dressing up :)
